England had 4 Danish/viking kings in total: Sweyn Forkbeard, Cnut the Great (Sweyn’s son), Harold Harefoot (Cnut’s son), and Harthacnut (Cnut’s son) 

 

Sweyn Forkbeard is the first Danish king of England. Since he died 5 weeks into his regime, his son Cnut the great is popularly known as the first Danish King of England

 

The Viking era ended in 1066 after the Battle of Stamford Bridge where King of Norway was defeated by the Anglo-saxon king Harold Godwinson
